Collection of Work |  Procreate, Mixed Media, Sketching   |  2020-25

This page consists of a compilation of illustrations created with various media ranging from colored pencil and soft pastels to digital work on Fresco and Procreate.

They span quite a few years back, and hold a special place in my heart as they show my evolution in my personal and professional spaces.

There is no specific topic for all of these placed together, but they give an overview of my skillset through examples such as expressive artwork, collages, and fashion illustrations, as well as print graphics and doodles made that are a tribute to my roots as an artist.

Me and my 4 closest friends in uni!

I'm quite adaptable in the graphic style I use for projects- that's the challenge of it!

My illustrations have applied to social media graphics, posters, educational textbooks, animation, and much more. My fashion illustrations are a particular skill that I started out hating, but learned to love for the ability to create characters and stories with them.

Animations!

I'm new to it, but a fast learner! I started animating for uni related projects and (unfortunately) for reels. These are frame-by-frame animations in Procreate.

Here's a few clips.

Character Creation

Showing the essence of a character- their personalities and tendencies through subtle details like the eyes, hand movements, and art styles is something I've come to enjoy. I get to build a story behind every person I see, as well as recreate my own story every time I try illustrating myself in a new way.

DISSECT

This piece explores the multifaceted identity of women and the power of reclaiming language, culture, and self-representation. The bold “W” overlaid on a vintage dictionary page challenges the historically narrow definitions of womanhood depicted through a uterus and reshapes it through a feminist lens. The fragmented face adorned with flowers, magnifying glasses, and surreal elements critiques the objectification and scrutiny women face while highlighting their intellect, individuality, and emotional depth. The use of floral motifs connects femininity to nature, growth, and cyclical power, emphasizing that beauty and strength coexist beyond societal stereotypes. A silhouetted figure lifting others encapsulates the spirit of empowerment, solidarity, and intergenerational support within feminist communities. The collage becomes a visual manifesto of how women redefine their worth and reclaim space in language, culture, and systems of power.

DEVOUR

This surreal composition offers a visceral critique of patriarchal control over the female body and identity. The anatomical heart fused with animalistic imagery symbolizes both vulnerability and primal power, while the woman’s face—erased into a void—illustrates the historical dehumanization and erasure of women’s voices. The dripping fork stabbing into her chest represents violence, exploitation, and the commodification of female existence. Beneath this cosmic body, miniature male figures survey the land—serving as a metaphor for the systemic regulation, measurement, and control imposed on women by societal structures. Yet, the starry sky and expansive backdrop invoke a sense of cosmic rebirth and limitless feminine consciousness, positioning womanhood as a force far greater than the systems trying to contain it. This piece becomes a haunting and poetic reclamation of rage, resilience, and rebirth.

Fashion Illustrations

Being a critical part of the conceptualization process of creating a collection, these depictions of movement, fabrics, and characters are a developed technique that must adapt to suit the theme and audience of each collection.

Funnily enough- I HATED human figure illustrations vehemently until 2nd year of college, but it has developed into one of my strongest illustration niches. Practice does indeed make perfect.

“Some designs don’t just communicate- they remember. They hold histories, they pulse with quiet insistence. They become ritual friendships.”
